NO SCHOOL!!! Thanksgiving Break November 25-29
I hope you all have a wonderful break and enjoy all the turkey and pie you can "gobble" up!
When we return on November 30th we will begin our last story and last set of spelling and vocabulary words of the year (well the last one before Winter Break)
We also wrap our personal narrative essays and finish our unit over time and measurement .

Here are some links students may use at home to practice the skills we are learning in the classroom.
http://www.spellingcity.com - Students will receive new spelling and vocabulary words every two weeks. Spelling City allows them to practice both spelling and vocabulary. The students will need to find my page (Mrs. Day - Mulvane, Ks) and then select the current story we are working with in class.
http://www.ixl.com - This is for practicing math at home. Students will have their login and passwords written in the front of their agendas. Please refer to the bi-weekly newsletter for the sections they should be practicing on.

Internet Safety
Please remember all of the safety tips that we discuss in class. If you ever have a concern or problem while on the internet please go directly to an adult. Only reply or talk to people who you know and do not give out personal information while online. Always remember to use kind words with your friends and DO NOT BECOME A CYBER BULLY.
